I can see this logic, but man-I hate those hits, I also have low numbers; but I refuse to do those hits. I'm not gonna sit there and think of a stupid porn title. Here comes my pride, but I think I'd rather die on the streets of hunger, then to do those hits; lol.
Didn't the tagging images HIT get cut, too? I thought they were 10 cents before and even then I thought for all the questions they asked the pay was kinda low.

Just wondering what others think... So noob's excuse is they are new, so they will work for a requester when they cut the pay, but others of us who have worked for this requester for over a year and a half hold back because the pay sucks. What kind of message do you think that sends the requester ? It's ok to cut the pay, because the hits will still get done. Let me offer you this advice. Netmsi DOES reject. Netmsi will MASS reject. So if you are going into those hits thinking they are easy, good luck.

I've done ~300 HiT's for them and have yet to see a rejection. I'll keep your words in mind, but I make an effort to be sort of creative with my word choice to try and avoid that.
I don't think boycotting any requester will help change anything, because even if all of us here stop working for them, there will always be someone somewhere who will complete whatever HITs we pass on. And with that knowledge, "standing your ground" so to speak will accomplish nothing but decreasing our daily earnings. BTW, i'm not working with NetMSI because of past rejections, I was speaking generally.
I don't think it's just noob's that would still do the work not unless Netmsi only allows US workers.
I've made some good money (for me, anyway) since I started doing this, and more since I started using this forum. To each and every one of you that posts HiT's here for others to do, I thank you! I'm still in the middle of looking for full time work, so Mturk is definitely helping with the bills and other necessities! You guys are awesome.
I have never done those HITs. couple months ago when this thread started a lot of people jumped on them. Pretty much the same exact conversation here happened. There was those who said be careful they reject and those who dismissed it with thousands upon thousands of nonrejected work. 2 days later there was screaming and yelling after 2 people got handed 300+ rejects dumping their approval to under 90% crippling their ability to do many hits at all. So I will tell you this. Do the hits if you feel comfortable with them at the current pay. but DO NOT do more then you can handle in one massive rejection. Again I refuse to do them because 10 cents...7 cents...either case is not worth the % hit from a mass reject.
Thanks for your replies. I remember when Netmsi had clickable actors and actresses names and were .10 for 61 characters. And using the actor names took up half the character content. So seeing another drop is just too much for me. First the actor names are gone, then the pay drops to .08, then categories are added making them harder to do, then they drop the pay again. I am not calling for a boycott, like I said, we all need money. I just think it sucks. I would suggest any new people read up on them just so they know what they are dealing with. I have had very few rejections with them personally. Maybe 10 total in a year and a half
