Since some people have problems with this, here a little guide. Chrome: Simply click the shield on the right of the adressbar. Marked with a red arrow here Firefox: First solution is the same as in chrome, but the shield is on the left and it brings up a drop down where you have to click "Disable Protection on This Page." (do not mind my german window) Second option is to get this add-on. It will show up in your menubar, click it till it turns red and mixed content is allowed in your browser. Click it again and it will turn back green and mixed content is blocked again
