I made the sought after 1000 hits.

So far nothing's different, perhaps a few new surveys. Greatly disappointed. I have an approval rating of 99.6 but thanks to constant broken hits and fear of reject returns (yes, I use turkopitcon) my submission rate is low. I only see at the moment, 574 hits I qualify for. Most of these are crowdsource or Jon Brelig, the rest are surveys.

You can color me disappoint to the max. I've looked at the hits to try to qualify for more things but don't see anything. I find it funny that having more hits doesn't mean the hits available pay more. I agree with some previous consensus that people need to stop accepting hits for two cents or less.

well the 1k mark is shifted since the last year. many requesters require 5k approvals today that had the 1k before. keep working constantly, follow the daily thread and you get the good stuff. we all had some setbacks on our turking trail.

Does Amazon still default the # Approved HITs option to >1000? I just hit 500 after 2 weeks, so I haven't seen any major changes.

Penny HITs are actually the best way to rack up thousands of HITs approved fast

When creating a HIT via 'New Project', the only qualification set by default is Masters has been granted. When creating a HIT via 'Create HITs individually', no qualifications are set by default
