Hey everybody, I've been casually turking for a couple of years now but I've recently decided to get serious about using mturk as a source of income. Right now I'm working on getting my numbers up and have just eclipsed 500 hits so hopefully that'll open up some more opportunities for me, and the good news is I haven't tanked my approval percentage yet. If I can sooner or later get over the equivalent of min wage then I really see no point in driving back and forth between a work place when all I qualify for in the area before I get my degree is minimum wage crap anyway. I've seen people on here claim to make $100+ in a day, so I'm trying to work up to that point.
Hi. I'm brand new too. I actually have only done a couple hits so far. I know that I need to focus on getting 1000, 5000 hits, etc... I am wanting to make a couple hundred dollars a week doing this. Is that possible? Any suggestions on the steps, etc.. what I need to do to do that? I have 6 hours a day 5-6 days a week in the morning time to devote to this. Any help/suggestions would greatly be appreciated. I'm desperate. Thank you so much! and I'm very excited!
Well, right now I'm doing Crowdsource's keyword hits to get my numbers up. They seem to pay better than the other ones that I can do quickly with my numbers. I can do one of their $0.08 hits in 50 seconds with the script active, which comes out to over $5 an hour. Still not even making min wage here but I don't think it's bad while just trying to get numbers up.

Hi all! I've been on here for a few months and on Mturk for atleast a year. I still can't quite get the groove of things. I've only made $13. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Tiffany Ann, I suggest poking around in the general section of the forum, there's a lot of tutorials and newbie help threads. Also, most of the activity takes places in the great hits thread of the day. Once you get past the gifs, people post hits throughout the day, and there's tons of really helpful folks willing to answer questions or point you in the right direction.
Love the username, I am also new hear found this forum just this week. I used to use mechanical turk just to make $3 when I needed a coffee. Now working part time I am trying to make money like you I see users make quite a decent amount I would be happy with $20 a day for now. Congrats on getting past 500 I just did but they have no tall been approved. I think getting past 1000 is the real goal. Good luck.
Broke 1k today! Now to chase 5k... and figure out how the heck people get masters. It's all about getting qualifications and being indiscriminate about the the kind of work you do, so long as the pay seems vaguely decent and the requester doesn't get many complaints.
