I went 117 straight HITs from CW that were auto-approvals. I got my first manual grade this evening since February 19th. In fact I got two in a row just now. Talk about cruise control... I thought maybe they had forgotten about me. eep:
*grins* I'm hiding in that bunker, too. It's been over two weeks since I've had anything other than an auto approve.
I had another run of 72 between the 5th and this morning. I did notice that they updated my PPT qualification, too. It had been 93, last updated July 13 2012. Now it's 94, updated March 13 2013. If I keep up this pace, I'll reach 99 by 2018. Can you feel the speed?
My last 4-5 points came in the space of about two weeks, I'd say. It took months, and about 500 hits, to get to 94.
Do the best work you can do and it'll happen if your work is consistently good enough. That's all I know about it.
For the love of god, read the style guide. I didn't read it closely enough early on, and spent ages making up for early mistakes which poisoned my average.
Hi there - I am new to the forum and to MTurk and CastingWords.....lots to learn here Can someone explain to me what auto approval is? I'm thinking it is obvious but I don't like to assume Also....how do you know what your PPT qualification is?? Thanks so much for your help!! Jena
Once you've built up enough of a record with CastingWords, they may auto-approve your work without sending it through graders and approvers first. Your current PPT can be found on the mTurk qualification page: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/findquals?requestable=false&earned=true
