Hi Everyone, Just joined Mturk and the forum, I hope to make some decent spending money with this. I have been using swagbucks for a while now but really have maxed out earning on that at about $3-$4 a day. I hope to learn a lot here. -Brian
I just started on the forum earlier this week. Have learned a lot in just a short time! Talk to Monica about how to add scripts to your computer to run things easier and to find good HITS. The "Greatest HITS" daily threads are also a great resource. Definitely do some lurking and ask lots of questions! The people here seem really friendly and very helpful! One thing-- smaller HITs aren't necessarily bad.... For example, a $0.02 hit that you can finish in 5 seconds = 0.24 a minute or $14.40 an hour... Also, you will find that you won't be able to do some of the better paying hits until you have gained enough accepted hits. Initially, 100, then 500... then, from what I've heard, 1,000 and 5,000 will get you much better paying HITS! Happy Turking!

Honestly, the best way to learn is to poke around old threads, and lurk the daily Great HITs thread! Things can be hectic there and there's a lot of OT content, BUT it's also the best place to get questions answered quickly and you can learn a lot just by reading/lurking too! It's really the only way that we have to evaluate requesters and let others know about them, whether it's good or bad. (I use other scripts too, but Monica's script thread has really good descriptions of them all!)
Okay so I have a question. I have doing hit for almost a week now and have accumulated almost $75 dollars. So I have to wait 10 days to transfer into my account. Is that on the 10th day or do they make me wait that extra day? Also, there after, can I transfer money anytime I want? And how long does it usually take before it hits the bank? Thank you for your help! New turker here.
Not sure about your first question. For the second question you can transfer whenever you want but you can only transfer once per day. Transfers from mturk to Amazon payments are nearly instant and transfers from Amazon payments to the bank are normally done on the next business day.
