In someways I do understand why Lucas might still turk if I may propose a theory. Turking becomes a habit like heroin or midgit porn. We are slaves to this misery that gives us that fix when we find a good batch or get a $5 bonus we weren't expecting. I know when I take even one day off I start to get nervous that I'm missing good HITs or just feel weird not doing it. The misery of turking is almost comfortable you might say. I hope that when (I almost said if) I'm in a position that I don't need this turk money that I'll be able to be strong and enjoy my life and resist the temptation to look for a quick high paying survey just because I'd go "wow good thing I totally checked out MTurk cause I just made $5 in 10 minutes and that's $30/hr." instead of just finishing that damn NetFlix show I was watching.
Hehe just did this as the timer was expiring. Ended up taking only 6 minutes for those who may have it in their queue. Given that it showed up about 2 hours ago could be a good time to snag it when someone undoubtedly will let it go.
