I am too. I think it's amazon. I just look at the link and delete amazon's part & it'll take me to the site that we're supposed to look at.
I am in FF and having trouble loading pages. I don't know how to take off the amazon part. The last 2 I have going try to load, and then error out.
I promise... just copy the error code and paste it in the bottom line of the hit. Select #3 and type n/a. It's a link error.
When get that error, the address bar will have something like https://s3.amazonaws.com/mturk_bulk/hits/78844977/wwwl.britaxae.com.au/ems/news.html delete the https://s3.amazonaws.com/mturk_bulk/hits/78844977/ part, the www.britaxae.com.au/ems/news.html is the address I'm supposed to look at.
I have about decided it is just a problem with the links themselves. And he will need to know that. Anyway, that is what I'm gonna go with. Just check 3 and n/a and copy/paste the error below.
And they're gone. I can't help but wonder if there was a problem and he took them down. Guess we will wait and see.
No problems, we just all were doing them and picked up the pace as it approached zero. I still have 24 to do but the pages really are having trouble loading
as i posted above, that was happening to me in chrome for some of the links. Since I was submitting and he was paying I took the extra 1 second to make it a usable link and answer the question while noting the broken link in the comments. I imagine eiither way would be fine.
So hectic lately, I really appreciate all of the work everyone here has done for me. My favorite aspect of this forum is that all of you can get together here and figure out problems with the HITs when I am not around. I apologize that the last set of HITs had some technical errors that were my fault. Everything was paid out, hope everyone is still enjoying my HITs. I am switching gears to a completely different project today. Some new HITs should be posted this afternoon, and if done correctly, will get you paid and a qualification to do more. There are 2,332 HITs worth $0.45 a piece coming down the line and will all have to be done in the next few weeks. Stay posted and thanks again.
Sounds great. I don't remember seeing any x8 HITs today though I may have missed them. Also, it would be nice if the mods removed those spam posts.
Hey everyone, I've posted a batch of HITs that are acting as a qualification test to more HITs going forward. The project, which will start Friday, consists of the finding and collecting of 2,300+ school calendars. We are paying $0.45 per calendar found and bonuses for certain milestones reached all day. I am looking to build a workforce of 150. To take the test you must have the x8 Data Collection Qual, which I've granted to about 225 of you. I may open this project up to more later, but as of now I am going to let the 225 trusted workers take the test first to have first crack at being in the 150 workers going forward. To complete the HIT with acceptable quality you must have a good understanding of the English language as well as common sense. I believe these HITs are very easy to complete and get all the answers right if you take your time and understand what you are doing. I won't be back around the computer until Friday to check these answers (or answer questions you may have) but this is a good test as I am looking for people who can take the directions given and return acceptable work. Thanks for the continued work you all have given me, I have enjoyed the stream of quality work mturkforum has given me, and because of it will continue bringing work back here often.
Also, just so y'all know, the $0.45 qualification test HITs posted take longer to complete than the actual calendars we collect. Most calendars take 1-4 minutes to collect in the actual project starting Friday.
