I don't know...I've not experienced the glaze-over effect when telling men about it at all. They seem pretty interested generally and my ex has been bugging me to watch it seemingly forever. Now that I'm hooked, he makes sure I watch it every single day so I catch up to Season 4 with him. Seems pretty neutral to me on the gender scale.
