Yeah it one of those just keep your nose to the grind stone and hope to get it kind of things. Thankfully with hard work if you need to you can make enough money to survive pretty well, obviously depending on where you live, without masters. I mean I'm still masterless and feel like I'm doing pretty well and Binky did really well for himself without masters. Obviously though masters does make turking much better.

That was a horrible horrible math game. Chloe has a paper with all the whole numbers broken up into fraction pieces. We had to roll a dice twice and so if it was 2 and 5, cross out 2 of the 5 pieces. It was so long. And the last one we just needed 1/5th to go but we were supposed to keep rolling until we got that. I finally told her we were done and to tell her teacher I quit
That's a horrible game. I would have cheated. Because fuck that game, there's no way that can be fun... it shouldn't be called a game, but an exercise in suckage.
We did. She flipped the 6 over at the end and marked off the last one. I hate stuff like that. It's not teaching anything. It's just busy crap. And I'm laying here coughing and feeling horrid and so she would hand me the dice and i would toss it on my bed and so on. It was SO pointless. lol edit: and I'm okay with stuff like that. I am honest with the kids at times when I think something is just dumb. Hannah is supposed to write about a fun sentimental family holiday tradition for chorus. She has a D- right now in Chorus because she doesn't know what to write about because honestly we don't HAVE anything thats much different than the usual stuff. I told to to just embellish the hell out of something. Who cares. The teacher has no clue what our traditions are. It's a stupid assignment and there are kids who have shitty homes who may not have anything to write about either. I hate these kinds of things. I told her that she can get graded on her writing quality no matter the tradition she writes about... so BS it and she can blame me
OK, someone explain to me what is wrong with PEMDAS and how changing mathematical notation is gonna help anyone?
Today's Projected Earnings $1.95 On the plus side, christmas shopping done, got my son in to get his picture with santa, last minute yard jobs before all the snow comes, etc. He thinks he's tough shit cause he just made brownies.
Second day in a row someone posted a picture of brownies cooked in a iron skillet. I need to try this.
Seriously the truth is we just need to get rid of / as a symbol used for division its stupid and leads to this kind of confusion. It makes sense as part of a programming language but this is it. If you are typing out any math it is most likely because you are at a decent level and in that case you would never use a standard word processor you would use something like LaTeX which allows you to write fractions the correct way anyways and if you are handwriting then it is no more simple to write one compared to the other. I mean theoretically some paper is saved by using / compared to writing a over b which would take up two lines but their is plenty of paper in the world and its a very renewable resource so I don't think we need to confuse kids to save it.
Didn't answer the question as to how the mathematical equation shown in the photo can equal anything but 1. Nice try on saying that the slash shouldn't be used as a division symbol, but no where near the topic that I requested an answer on. Content - D+ Effort - A
