I just recently hit 1000..Is there anything special about this? Any specific requesters I should be on the lookout for?
5000, though since I hit 5K, I haven't really noticed anything special. EDIT: John K's are 5,000 if I remember right. It's late.... 1k seems to be the biggest milestone. There are lots of things that open up, though I don't really track them much anymore. A couple I know of are Crowdsource, like 'Sentiment of a Keyword', 'Irrelevant Products on Search Page' and 'Categorize if Search Results' (or something similar). Those are all relatively easy, like 1 minute per HIT, and pay from $0.14 up to $0.25 per HIT. I'm also seeing various surveys and such requiring 1k.
Yeh with 1000 the Crowdsource Categorize Website HITs openned up for me and I got about $25 from that earlier this week.
I wish some of CrowdFlower's HITs had some kind of qualifications. Some have NONE. I guess they use that as an excuse for their dumbass quality control crap
Title: Impressions Study Requester: Behavioral Lab [A3OSXTUM1QEXNY] (TO) Description: Complete this 5-10 minute survey and earn 50 cents! Reward: $0.50 Qualifications: HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 98, Location is US Link: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2KGW3K4F0OHOV2C36WBO8L97MHK01U Powered by non-amazonian script monkeys Took me about 8 minutes, and I ranted a little on the writing so if you don't it'd probably be 5-6 minutes. I think it's been posted before.
One random thing I noticed about their quality control. There is one test question for every page you do, this is true like 99% of the time.
Im.... not good enough friends with Oscar too accomplish that yet. I try to abuse Redwood, Venue Quality, sometimes Catalog Choice but I guess they are like Oscar's kids for padding hits.
I don't do Oscar HITS when he first came out yes, but total focus is on something bigger and better. 100,000 and Masters qualification is where it is at. I have no more capthca. Makes working on Batches a lot easier now.
Does anyone know what the number by your ClariTrans approval comments mean. I have a lot that have been approved and it says 4:thanks. I have two that say 3: thanks. I just started doing these yesterday because I want to get into doing transcription hits since they pay pretty well, but I need to work my way up. I felt these were good practice. I was just nervous that if the numbers are a grading scale 1-10 then I am not doing well.

I think 4 may be the top of the scale. I have never gotten higher then that. I know for sure that Rejected 2: Transcript not accurate; be sure to transcribe every spoken word.
Thank you. I guess that means that I am doing pretty good. I have only done the .03, .05, and .07 ones so far. Just trying to get use to transcribing so hopefully one day I can do the big money ones. Are there any other requesters that have easy ones like these that would be good practice to build yourself up?
https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2ZSQUQIHPCGJH2TFVGN53H0MVWS06H copy and paste information into web form Catalog Choice .03 There are a bunch of these up. I know that it is low pay, but it is easy mindless work early in the morning.
Dont quote me on this cause im not sure of the name but, every now and then I think David Hatchett posts really easy hits that are basically phone number transcriptions. I dont remember if thats the requester name exactly, better to ask someone else : D.

as far as i know, the scale is from 1-5 3 is the first level that can be approved, 4 is good with a minor error, 5 is perfect. they usually neglect to put a number on ones that get 5 and just write 'thanks'.
