nope. they don't want to test the software now. they just want you to be familiar with the interface, while they test it tomorrow. those 5 names are just sample accounts. use any of them and go through the tutorials. the actual username and password will be sent to you after you submit the HIT, I guess.
thanks. it's definitely good to know who left the review. When i said "Despite the one bad review" I wasnt saying it as "despite the one negative review someone left that isnt true" btw. Yesterday i specifically asked him about the likes and you knows before I did them because they were saying it A LOT lol He really isn't specific on his instructions but I think he realizes that now. I hope he reverses yours considering people are asking about that (the likes and you knows). That way he'll see that people are confused and it wasn't your fault.

If you prefer keyboard shortcuts, you can do Windows key + Left Arrow or Right Arrow to make it on the left/right half. Win + Up Arrow maximized the selected window again (Win + Down Arrow minimizes as well).
I appreciate your comments. I think it's important to take responsibility for the feedback I leave as much as it is for the requesters to take responsibility for the rejects they hand out, thus, my explanation. David is new and it's clear he didn't understand all of the possible interpretations of what to include or not in a nonverbatim transcript. I usually don't have problems with newbie transcript requesters, so this threw me for a loop. I've completed over 10K hits and gone threw mass reject situations so I appreciate how a turkers number and values affects their ability to make money and work. The first rule of turking: Better to err on the side of caution. For the requesters this might be a one time project they need done, but for me I need the money on a regular basis PS: Sas, Good to see you! Miss you most of yesterday. Hope you're feeling ok
which topic did you choose (if i may ask) i changed my to the lingere one, seems this one is easier for me to write about haha
ah, ya not one i would know anything about haha that topic if it was forced would get the blank stare for five minutes followed by a hit on the return button.
I just looked around online for information about 'em. I like the one that says "Use of Cadaver Dogs in Search and Rescue Missions" - Not sure they actually know what cadaver dogs are trained for.
I wrote to them about an unrelated topic and they threw this blurb in the response: "Two important things. We are in the process of reviewing the HITS from the last few days, and have already approved thousands of them, but it will take a few more days. We really hate rejecting HITs and thus though we have approved many we have rejected very few, and thus the process can sometimes take a bit longer." I still have 200 from the 8th that are pending, as I recall someone at the time said they were pretty slow at approving.
Here is some batch hits search 'MASC Data' Good TO. I have done hits for them before. Good for doing on a Sunday. Requires 20k Approved though.
