ALL: VERY IMPORTANT The mod team (Flora, Cowfin, and I mainly) have been working for the past few weeks on a new post. I've alluded to it a bit, but it's finally here! I welcome you to the MTF Posting Guidelines official thread! There's been some confusion about rules, bans, and supposed discrimination on the forum by mods and members alike. This post hopefully solves some of those problems, answers some of those questions, and provides new avenues for conversing about and disputing mod decisions. I'm posting this a little early for two reasons. One, there's few users active right now, so I feel like we're not going to get slammed with questions. Two, it'll be ready for Monday (when we were going to post it) without missing some of the early people. So please, head over, read, look at the examples, leave feedback. I'm sure that we've missed some things that you all will think of, so post away! Just try to keep it civil! Final note: these aren't official "rules" per se. They're guidelines. This is a post you can refer back to when wondering why a user got banned or didn't get banned, why a post is still up, or how to do something like ignore a user or appeal a ban. EDIT: Notice the edit in the "Reserved 2" post. Please keep comments in that thread relevant, not just a "thanks" or "good idea". Criticism, corrections, or questions only please! We may delete posts that are not questions/criticism to keep the thread as on topic, relevant, and important as possible.

That's the goal. This is basically a codification of all the rules. We've had little bits here and there, but this is supposed to be a consolidated "Here it is" post. Expect the mods to refer to it frequently lol.
