I don't have masters - so for me it's about paying attention when qualification hits show up. I can make $100/150 a week by being on all the time and doing high paying surveys, catching good batches when they show up. But the rest each week, which can easily double what I make doing everything else, is quals that I have picked up over the last year. And since those requesters didn't post for most of the week - it was a slooooww week for me.

I also don't have masters. Just make sure you're watching scraper, pandaing good hits, and figuring out which hits are worthwhile.
