The Crowdsurf Happy Hour bonus for this week is tonight and only for Review and Edit so they must be backed up.
I actually do Crowdsurf and haven't gotten the email. I did notice that since about a week ago I've been able to do their edit and review tasks. I've only done a few because I thought maybe it was a mistake since I haven't taken a test or anything.
That's the cheapest option. Good call. Hopefully they don't give me another fortuneless fortune cookie.
So who exactly is reviewing the reviewers? I hear they are happy to reject in most cases so I'd rather not mess with them. Although TO reports show that reviewers get away with a lot more than the transcribers do
I wouldn't worry about rejections for honest effort. You know, read the instructions, do your best . . . Their guidelines are kind of specific, though. I've done 4464 HITs for them with 1 rejection - I accidentally submitted a HIT after I only did half of it so several words were missing. Edited to add: "Review and Edit" HITs are reviewed just as if you had transcribed them - same reviewers.
