Regarding web/app/graphics design, mturk has taught me one thing:

Never ever trust your own judgement. Every single little detail, every choice of color, etc. should be put up as a HIT on mturk to make sure you are doing it right. :rolleyes:

 

Do you have it set to a low # of posts per page as a preference?

I don't like changing pages often so I'm on page 34 right now, which is fairly high these days.
