Yeah, when it goes on sale for $10 (which is all the time - right now, even), definitely check out this class - https://www.udemy.com/web-developer-course/ and everything by that instructor. Shit is so in-depth, I've been doing it for well over 2 months now. Covers web design/layout, wireframing, HTML, CSS, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, responsive design, javascript, PHP, MySQL, jQuery, jQueryUI, career/business advice, AngularJS, and newbie Wordpress app development. I also really like the free HTML/CSS class at Udacity - https://www.udacity.com/course/intro-to-html-and-css--ud304 But for srs...Brad knows his shit. WCH is doing his Bootstrap class, also.
Thanks for that link! When you buy the course, do you have access to it permanently? It's $10 right now and I'm considering grabbing it for later.
Taking the Unity course on Udemy right now, it is a lot better than I thought it would be. I recommend em.
Yup it's all yours for good. Check out the freebies, too. Sometimes things are given away for free for a limited time (or stay free forever). You can pick up some good classes that way.
Opens hit to see if worth doing... "..UPDATED: We won't tolerate any of the following, and will reject the Hits at random.." ..NOPE
Sweet! I took a web and graphics design course 9 years ago and the instructors were just awful. One of them was an older guy who was stuck in the days of graphics design before computers, so while he had some cool stories and knew some stuff, it wasn't really applicable. His favorite teaching method was throwing a photoshop tutorial book at us and have us do parts of it. I don't think he knew how to actually use the program lol
Thanks Morrisa, just bought this. Need a refresher course and will most def learn some new things from here. Gotta take advantage of that 97% off. I loled when I saw that.
it was always the go-to for instruction in web/graphic design for some reason. lol i mean, i get it. knowing photoshop is needed, but its 2016....everyone knows it, when i was 16 it was a new thing to learn but now-a-day, every 14 year old understands it fluently. sounds like hes just a product of his time.
Yeah, pretty much. I have a feeling I'll learn more by spending $10 here than I ever did in that 9 month course lol
Oh man. I remember those days (kind of). I studied graphic design in college and haaaaated everything web related. Swore I'd make it big in old school advertising and corporate branding. LOL...until I got my first design job and hated every ounce of having no creative input whatsoever. Drove me out of that field real quick. All these years later now I'm like okay yeah I want to design again but I want full say over eeeeverything, lemme at that javascript! LOL, yeah they run $10 sales all the freaking time. I feel sorry for anyone who actually spends $300 on there.
