Oh god, I hate shopping for knives, lol! She makes a lot of purses right now! It started as a hobby and turned into a side business. She started making concealed-carry purses and they apparently sell faster than she can make them.
Yeah I had no idea it was last night either. Hopped on around midnight on saw Racenotes up. Was confused.

technically i guess it's 'zir' now but i think that's stupid and would prefer 'it' over that if i was trans(?) or gender fluid or whatever but i'm not.
WCH, this is a no brainer. Give her a gift card to her favorite fabric store/or online store. Let her choose her own stuff.Unless you know of a particular item she's mad to have, you'll never get it right. My mother use to take me shopping for my presents. I chose it. When we got home, she'd hand the bag to me and tell me to wrap and put my name on it. I musta been hard to shop for.
I always buy my mom scratch offs because she loves playing them but also because they are the only gift that can't go down in value but can go way up possibly lol
Yup it'll always be a 20 dollar gift but if she hits it big I can always be like hey mom remember that mothers day I bought you a house.
Gifts for my Mom were an open book--literally. She loved books--all of them, but I knew her favorites. Otherwise it was records and weaponry. Oh and of course little animals. She adored puppies and always had a pack of dogs trailing along behind her. Damn, you lot had to remind me of Mother's Day! Only person I could ever really talk with. I miss her.
I personally thought they never ran on Mother's Day because they didn't want to take the chance that someone's son might die on Mother's Day but I found this story from 1997. A Winston Cup points race hasn't been held Mother's Day weekend since 1984. And, heaven forbid, rain pushes the race back to Sunday, because NASCAR has raced on Mother's Day only once. It's a tradition that can be traced to the France family. Popular legend has it that when the late Bill France Sr. founded NASCAR in 1949, his wife, the late Anne B. France, put her foot down and decreed two days would be reserved for family: Easter and Mother's Day. Mother France's decree hasn't been taken lightly.
Seriously. Ask Roast. Been at this for DAYS. I decided on the Cuisinart 7" full tang. A step down from those smexy Cangshans, but if she likes it, I can always upgrade it for her later. Mmmm purses. I love making bags. You could get a bag design book with really nice patterns in it. I don't know much about those types of purses, but if she's interested in making them with really nice fabrics, you could splurge on some Amy Butler or Rowan or something pretty. There's also a really good leather store online if she's not opposed to that. Their suede remnants aren't bad for making small accessories. Hardware is also much appreciated (at least by me). For regular bags - feet, handles, clasps, buttons, frames, etc.

This guy's brilliant btw, his "concert choir" series is hilarious. He plays a Choir teacher who's choir does hip hop remixes LOL.
This reminds me. I forgot to ask you. Did you hear about that Kirk Franklin in the studio with Kanye thing?
