    I'm burnt out as well but I am going on vacation for like 10 days in August so not only will I not be working but I need a lot of money to pay for Universal LOL

    Better save up a lot. We spent almost 2K there in only 4 days and there's only 2 of us. Everything is expensive. Small lunch for 2 people costs $30

    we are planning carefully and not buying meals as much as we can help it. we are only doing 1 day in Universal so will have to pick a park. Then we have other plans. And stopping at Mammoth Caves and to see my family in NC as well. So we have a pretty full itinerary. Universal wasn't even going to be part of it but I think I'd break my oldest's heart if we didn't go.

    Very underwhelming. Even if the Hat elevator still worked, you would see nothing but meth labs and forest for miles.

    I have a friend who works at Universal. She's a Bears fan and she dumps some kind of weird green slime on people from Wisconsin, just for fun.

    I'm totally going to tell her to keep an eye out for you.

    I think the only people who dig it are the people who are either really nostalgic for some period in their childhood when they first went there or are totally into kitsch, to the point it hurts.

    I never even wanted to stop by there as a kid. Thankfully, my parents felt the same.

    Did anyone else get a rejection from Evan Strenk? Reason: "buggy source code. only allowed Workers to select age OR gender."

    I have a feeling it's not worth the time to pursue getting it overturned, but if there are others, maybe he will do something about it.

    Originally we were just going to NC to visit family. Then decided to combine a trip with the BF and his kid. Kid wanted to go to Legoland. So WI to KY to NC and FL and have no idea which way we are doing anything haha. I may skip my family mid NC actually this year... it's *really* out of the way and my kids have never had a trip like this before so...
    They could come see me if they really care. haha

    I'll tell BF South of the Border is on the itinerary now and see what he says :p
