I goofed on 2 that were the very first questions on a couple of surveys, and I was exiled. Embarrassing.
I'm loving Max Planck...bad TO...complaints about subjectivity but not many recent reviews...should I take a chance? (Im at 99.7% approved btw)
Anyone know if we can do multiple of these "neuroscience" hits? https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=3LHGJL34AL9O4SWGZEDAP7IVHRE2O4
I have never had any problems with them. I haven't worked for them in awhile but I used to do them a ton.
Yeah those Max Plancks are looking more and more like if I get rejections, he will be an obvious scammer because these hits are incredibly easy and clear-cut. Either he cleaned up his act big time or the previous workers were idiots.. I just did one with a Fault in Our Stars clip where she looks at her phone in the grass and picks it up- clip ends- and the choices were like, "he looks at the room with somebody in the room in the room" or "she looks at a phone in the grass and picks it up". Like..how were people getting these wrong?
Oh wow! I think that might be the best one I've seen. You have to wonder about the people that are out in the field sometimes. And that annoys me because they are probably making killer money for being that stupid.
I could hug you for this Bobbie! I am in a particularly good mood to begin with and ecstatic now I secretly love that his TO is bad..it's making these super fast hits go very very slowly (Jan Falkowski's were AWFUL and the batch of 1000 disappeared in literally 30 minutes last night). Yeah..- on checking his TO again, it's really bad lol. Luckily I've been turking long enough to know if recent reviews are not plentiful I take the bad ones with a grain of salt...sometimes people just get scared away from bad TO reviews but the requester often cleans up his act (or you realize a lot of workers are spamming or really dumb maybe...not us of course- we're the elite turkers )
I have never tried to do more in one batch but I have done that hit several times. He has approved each time - I figure that it is alright because of the way the hit instructions remind you to read the instructions since they may have changed from before
I haven't noticed them on scraper lately. I think they were still posting some early on but not really every hour like they have been.
The Max Planck Institutes are well-known globally for their work in neurology and biochemistry. I can't see them scamming anyone.
lol, requesters can give themselves any name they want. The odds of this guy being tied in with the institute is highly unlikely.
I think Parro is right. I communicated with someone there about some other hits and they came on company "letterhead". They are in Germany.
I don't know much about this but I asked about Planck earlier and Pontiac told me that they had just blocked someone earlier today. Don't know who but I trust Pontiac so I didn't risk it. Hope nobody has any problems with them.
