I started keeping track while back then I got lazy. I had one that promised one and pretended that it was already sent when I asked about it. We went back and forth in emails and about two months later, they finally paid out. Most of them probably hope we just forget about it and many of us do.
ugh. Not in mood. Same. To lazy to keep track. Not worth the effort anyway typing out emails unless it's like a 20 dollar bonus.
In about 18 months, I've made $204 in bonuses. I don't know if the emails match the promises , too much bookkeeping.
I used to track them all. Many of the 20 cent ones were never paid -- never bothered following up with the requester. Most of the bigger ones paid though. I did once have a $10 bonus not pay and they blew off my messages. Now I only bother making a note to myself if it is at least a few bucks. And then I usually forget anyhow. Some of them don't pay the bonus for ages (looking at The Choice Lab here) and I don't want to be that person who starts nagging 3 days after doing the HIT. Also, just got this: Greetings from Amazon Mechanical Turk, You've received a bonus from Peter Mocarski for work related to [...]. The value of your bonus is: $0.05 USD The Requester included this note: No comment provided by Requester. Pretty sure I rolled a 4 on that dice. He cheated for me.
Bonuses $1,924.69 Almost 10% of my total earnings. I'm a sucker for those economic game HITs. Doesn't seem like I earn THAT much in bonuses though!
I think you win with batches. Lots of bonuses is a sign of doing lots of filler surveys that ask you to decide how to split 40 pennies between two people. Except is it really filler if it just fills the gap between other crappy surveys? I have 709 bonuses from 2015 (only 9 months turking), 449 from 2016, and 284 so far this year. Finding more batches. Also being disqualified from more and more surveys.
I've vowed not to sign up for those next year. I have the last couple of years then end up doing 3 or 4 and quitting. They just annoy me because I can't figure out half the crap on them. I have nearly $400 from eugene wu from a couple of years back. It's a bird. No. A plane? Aw screw it, call it a bird. Gimme my 2 pennies.

Popping in after a long time I kept track of all bonuses in a spreadsheet from 2013-2015 (got bored with this after 2015). Approximately 72 percent of promised bonuses were paid out.

Yeah You have to have worked with the requester in the past to do them. It's locating school calendar and inputting a bunch of dates. Not that much fun at all.
