I see they post some decent work and am curious if anyone here has had any dealings with them. Their TO has me on the fence...
I have always had great luck with smartsheet in the past, but I have not tried their HITs in months. I would only do HITs of theirs that specifically said something along the lines of "if the information is not available, enter 'none' or 'n/a'" because at least back then most of their HITs were info gathering and all too often it's impossible to find all the info that is listed in the HIT. It seemed at least back then that most of their HITs made me hesitant based on weird directions, bad pay, etc., but every so often a great batch would come along and it always worked out fine. Part of the reason for the discrepancies in their HITs though is because they are a middle man and I would assume that all too often their clients have no idea how to put out work that is worth our effort...this also could lead to rejections I suppose based on a clueless client. I probably did about 500-1000 HITs for them in the past, and I have had no rejections. Not sure this really helps...I would say if the HIT seems well-designed and is worth the time, it may be worth a shot. If there is any question as to what they want, I would definitely avoid!
Smartsheet pays promptly but the thing is some of their HITs are not worth the time while in a most of them its hard to find by the email, phone number etcetra and putting "none" or "N/A" doesnt sound good..So I often return them
Just got this email... You've received a bonus from Smartsheet.com Clients for work related to 2J5JKM05BMJTWSP0CSKPERA81SEDIR. The value of your bonus is: $0.05 USD The Requester included this note: Thanks for your work. I did not do many. Looks good though I might start doing more of their work since they seem to have decent jobs posted now and then.
I did three HITs from Smartsheet.com Clients on August 2nd -- "Find email address on carpet/flooring website (Client BSBODHB)" -- and they're still pending, so I'm not certain either way. I like HITs that approve/reject within a day or two, so I don't have to sit there biting my fingernails over $0.15 total. I think it depends on the client that sets up the HITs? Mine (BSBODHB) must be letting it auto-approve (unless that person is a sadist, and enjoys making people squirm until the last second before the big 'reject' button is pushed).
