Ahh. I've lived in Portsmouth for my whole life. And yeah, beach traffic is truly a pain in the ass. I almost rammed into some guy blazing through a stop sign on my way home from Ocean Breeze a while ago
Wow... Our bills and rent are covered by $1500... the $1000 in student loan payments we have is not. We pay $325 for rent, around $300 for bills, $400 for food month. No car, so no insurance... and that's split between two people... Though we try to save $100/month for pet care and are saving for our actual wedding ceremony and stuff... well trying to, savings is in the negative right now. @.@
That's awesome. I grew up in VA Beach for about 5 years from 4-8-years old, which was like 24 years ago. We moved there because my dad was in the Navy and got stationed there. I had a lot of fun while I was there. It's some of the best memories I have. How's it like over there now? Are there still a lot of Navy people there?
Wow. I can't imagine turking if I lived in Manhattan. At the 10 cents a minute 'requirement', your rent is over 300 hours of work a month.
yep, that sounds like Portsmouth . They had a sewage spill ONTO the intersection of Frederick and Airline Blvd yesterday I think...the poor newscaster almost puked onscreen, lol
Eh, I do it part time. I have a full time job and turk while watching TV at night or sometimes on weekends. I only make a little over $100 a month on average turking, but it really helps with extra spending money and student loans. I have six weddings to attend this year so there's been a lot of extra expenses for traveling/hotel rooms/car rentals/gifts.
Well the math hits (as long as didn't miss any and get all the bonuses) put me over $10. Not bad for about an hour worth of turk I guess. Would love to hit 20 though... come on master batches.
Still military heavy for sure, but overcrowded now. Believe it or not, half a million people live in VB now. I joke about it, but still a nice resort type area.
I wonder do people use a calculator on the math hits? I'm good at math so it faster for me to just run through the numbers quick.
Exactly. I have my student loans on income based repayment and currently don't have hardly any payment due. If I had to pay $1000 a month, I would be living on the streets.
