Yeah... A lot of people have said the same about Classify This and ProductRnR. I've just been real lucky!!! That's why I always say not to do more than you are comfortable with. I don't know what the deal is - but likely they just have SO many HITs and SO many workers they don't bother or can't address every rejection complaint. I just hate their TO is so slammed - and they have never rejected me. But I am aware that others got rejected - and can't speak for them. You don't hear me complain about Classify This, NetMSi and ProductRnR (except the low pay)- but they have not rejected me either. I've just been real lucky, I guess... Even the member that I know of whom has done thousands has had some rejects on the CTI HITs. But one in 1000 is still only .001%. So if you did 1000 and got 10 rejects you would still be at 99.9% total approval.
Keep in mind that to some people (especially me) with over 2k approved and no rejects (Yes, I am still at 100%) That first reject will be a huge deal. That is why I almost always avoid subjective batches unless they have a fast auto-approval.
Resources Forum... The "Resources Forum" is something I'll be working on shortly... Ignore it for the moment. Remember all those stickies I was going to do - well they will go there instead! Links to scripts, new Turker Advice, etc.... Then when a new person comes on and asks a question already covered we can give them the link to the forum and specific post... Sorry I didn't mention this earlier - been a busy day!
I haven't done a TO on them because I only did one hit and they are batch. I figure I'm a fluke. Oh well, right?
That did come from a survey! LOL! I remember it well!!! In my opinion if it takes 5 machines 5 minutes to make 5 widgets then each machine makes one per 5 minutes. So it would take take 500 minutes for 100 machines to make 100 widgets - given each machine produces a widget every 5 minutes. But my logic sensors are a mess tonight - I could very well be wrong. And likely am!
https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchb...=Wilma+Bainbridge+MIT+&minReward=0.00&x=0&y=0 .10 200 up batch hit (only did a few so far, easy task and beautiful TO rating from three people) eat them up if you wish.
