Bragg [A1SY0KXWFZZGSR] (TO) Description: (MUST HAVE GOOD ENGLISH ACCENT- no need to install or have any software) its simple, you just record 50 words, and that is it. Reward: $7.00 Qualifications: Masters has been granted Link: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2KGJ1XERSQVBOVV0RZK3RVWBZKL08L Powered by non-amazonian script monkeys So I tried this. It has a five minute timer and demands a perfect recording. They give you the site, but I did it twice and both times it played back a chipmunk recording. My guess is that its a scam. Stay away.
get adblock plus not the regular adblock, and they recently allowed those advertisements by default in a recent update. you can disable it in the settings.
That's to clean up problems some people had with Wave 1. It's just for those specific workers. The requester posted about it here earlier today.
Yes, very nice. These are the types of HITs I am OK to do right now: quick and easy with little to no brain power required.
Many results will come up without ads. However, a lot still do. Especially if google can "link" it with a product. If you click on the (I) icon next to sponsored on the search I did, they will even say they may get paid for you clicking on a link.
Like I said, I've not seen any ads. The only things that come up in the sidebar is the occasional information on a company, person, etc if I google them specifically. Never ads. I'm using Disconnect and Adblock Plus with 6 different filters.

I wonder if "I will choose just one" means rejects for everyone else. Mturk isn't the place for auditions. Just ask that goth chick guy.
Actually when I use Chrome with stock ABP filters, I notice some ads on Google. But I only use Chrome for rare specific tasks. Could either be the lack of robust filter subscriptions, or that the Chrome version is limited (Google obviously has an interest in that). But I'm too lazy to test this theory.
checkout the user kethy in our forum, he/she is posting all the old hit threads http://mturkforum.com/forumdisplay.php?30-Great-HITS
yeah, there's a setting in ABP to disable nonintrusive ads. they allowed it by default in a recent update.
