Welcome! We are all glad to have you here. I wouldn't worry too much about it, I did it in 20 a few weeks ago. Are you a fast typer?
They don't respond to any of my e-mails. D: All four of em got nothing back. Yep. Sorry. Tired. ALSO, Welcome geek and Jen!
Hey Jedi!!! So glad to have you here!!! First things first... Get an avatar. Second - please don't discuss your answers on any HIT and especially not surveys or studies. It affects their results and these are paid research studies. Just a heads up! But that being said. WELCOME!!!
If you haven't been doing them long, sometimes they issue a soft block after you've done a few in order to go back and check your work before letting you do more. As long as they didn't reject any, I don't think you're in any trouble.
Harvard Study: Navigate through a variety of user interface menus - $1.25 https://www.mturk.com/mturk/accept?hitId=2CQER9Y8TNKIU391FX6H02OM2CQU7F&prevHitSubmitted=false&prevRequester=Jason+Black&requesterId=A1K0KWF4SE529C&prevReward=USD1.25&hitAutoAppDelayInSeconds=172800&groupId=2PBKA0RYNJ92VN11AI2MRTUIYZ938A&signature=f5gTTiXGLfQ8H6f3xYow%2Bs2cKk0%3D&%2Faccept.x=52&%2Faccept.y=10 Edited to add: That was a lot of work. The thing didn't want to work for me at first and wound up taking 24 minutes instead of the 20 allotted. The hit timed out on me and I had to re-accept it. I was really lucky it allowed me to accept it more than once.
I got it too. It's only on one kind of hit. I can do other Redwoods. I wouldn't let it worry you. From what I hear, they'll never write back, tell you what you did wrong or lift the block so I guess we'll just have to live with it. I'm still doing the other kinds of Redwoods until they block me there too.
To Everyone! Hey Y'all: Sorry... I just caught up on the thread and.... Let me be clear.... We can not discuss any HIT answers in such a way that it would possibly affect others when completing a survey or study. As innocent as it seems, others may get your concepts stuck in their heads when doing the study and be predisposed to answer that way! These are university funded studies and we do not want to be responsible for skewing their results! It is one thing to talk about tweets or Classify This web pages - it is another thing entirely to discuss your answers, your feelings or you thoughts about specifics with a survey or study! ("That was long" or "That was intense" - OK... "I felt that a lot of them related to ****" or "Wasn't question *** weird!" IS NOT!!! Please keep this in mind... Thanks! Rob
Go ahead and do the make-up hit anyway. She's got it up. There are at least 3 of us around here that I know of that she messed with.
