You don't have to have a bank account. I turked for years and just spent all of my earnings on Amazon because I didn't want a bank account linked. I recently linked a bank account. Many people turk without bank accounts, though, and just have earnings go to a card like Bluebird if they don't want to spend it on Amazon.
