I'm with Granit, I just barely managed to get the 2.00 hit to submit before it went sideways. Even sent a message to ASC thinking it might be their HIT. When it told there was an error sending them a message, I was like, "Oh, well guess that solves the mystery."
That scared me silly. I hope they fix these issues soon. I wouldn't know what to do without Mturk eating up so much of my time. lol
lol ~ yes. brief panic attack about that too, but I am getting errors on everything I can't submit, I can't email the requester, and when I look at my account there is no information for today
question from a newbie - Many of the links in these threads do not go to anything when I click them, is this because I do not have enough approved hits yet? Or am i just not quick enough to do them before they run out?
Service failure, all session data lost, all that good stuff -- generally means they had to move the whole application from one instance to another and couldn't transfer the application state. It's a big No Bueno, take it from someone who used to run 24/7/365 web apps for a living. Usually means a fiber cut or a BGP flap or something similar.
hope its the calm before the storm. shut everything down load up some ridiculous amount of hits and let everybody fumble trying to get a piece
Probably a little of both. usually if its you aren't qualified you'll get an error message saying so.
right now it could be b/c mturk is down.. usually you can still see the hits just not do them if you dont meet the qualifications
Brief panic attack - thought my account had been suspended or something ( even though I know of no blocks). Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.
Yeah... when turk is working its going to be overloaded with $10 hits! woo! I would be okay with this then
