I live in Thailand right now, and turk most days, and I'm spinning my wheels financially living simply but in a nice condo. So, yes, I guess.

Haha, awesome! I felt a little nervy when everyone was only saying that they use this as supplemental income. I'm a college student and live with my girlfriend, but times are tough here in Oregon. We both can't find a job, so for a while we lived off of savings and me giving guitar lessons/her babysitting, but it wasn't looking good, so I searched the ole Googles on how to make money online, and found out about mturk, like, last winter, but started this passed Spring. We realized that if we just sat around and did nothing but turk all day, we could make quite a bit of money, so that is what we have been doing. Two accounts, all day, can bring in so much money. So, it feels like we have regular full-time jobs, and since we have a roommate, we are putting so much into savings, mturk has, like, saved our skins hahah. I'm sort of freaking out about the day that mturk starts to disappear.
I'm going to play FFXIV and keep this forum up on the second monitor so I can see PM. My skin itches if I don't know for sure whether or not there's a good batch.
If it works for you then no one really has the right to judge. I pay my bills with Turks. I take it 110% seriously. There are a lot of jobs you can get from home but not many that do not require being abused by customers on the phone all day.
Scouring Netflix to find something in the background. One of my favorite quirky comedies is on instantwatch finally. "Mystery Men"
Good on you guys! I live w/ a roomie and my BF and while he kind of turks, he doesn't really bring in much when he does (still under 1k approvals). For me, I do it for rent $ so that I make sure everything else gets paid and stash a little extra into savings. Hopefully he can snag a retail job this winter (or I'll go back to target when my other job slows down). We're hoping to buy a house in the next year b/c the market here is still pretty decent and have decided to delay our wedding (again) if it comes down to having to pick between the two (I have better credit, so us being legally married would only hurt our loan rates). I really wish I knew about mturk when I wasn't working or in school, would have saved our butts many times. OK, for reals, I HAVE to hit $15 tonight. No more distractions damnit!!!!! *whip crack*
Hahahahaha, Who are you, and how do you not know of me? Yes, I have Masters, and here's a video of how to get it too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEK7RjHhMtI
HUGE FAVOR: If anyone could set up a thread with a poll, I'd love to see what people here think is the best time of the day to Turk? Maybe break it down in 4 or 6 hour shifts? Tried several times but I guess I'm too damn HTML illiterate.
I am living off mTurk right now and yes, it is a godsend. I live way out in the boonies and no car at the moment. Me and three kids to feed. I'd be up **** creek if I did not know about mturk, couponing and you guys that's for sure.
