Someone said a few days ago that you can't "thanks" a post that was posted within the last minute or so. There's some timeframe on how old a post has to be before that "thanks" option appears.

 

you just cant see the "thanks" when you reply to the thread (using the actual reply, not quick reply). A simple refresh would fix it.
