Has anyone had the sandwich-making HIT expire on them? My hubby and kids were really needy while I was doing it and it expired just as I was about to submit it. I messaged them with a screenshot of the last page with my earnings, just wondering if I wasted an hour and a half of my life.
If anyone likes those Joe Elliotts, I found another trick - set your scroll wheel to scroll ~18-20 (may be less, depends on your screen res) lines, then set my Joe script to just do one wheel scroll per pic. Joes are up, btw. Only reason I'm not creepin on yall. Oh, and I took a college course that briefly covered contract law as it relates to employment. The independent contractor (you, the turker) is liable for *most things that you do in the course of your work. Now, if it's direct employment, the employer would be liable, if something you did as a function of your job was deemed illegal, negligent, etc. Basically... you're technically liable for anything you might see, but at the same time ProductRnR would be liable for distribution of illegal content, which is much more severe than getting caught with 1 or 2 pics in your browser cache. Realistically, you're probably safe.
Nope...anything they say can and will be held against them...we are on our own...I just do not do them
"HIT submission rate (%) is not less than 90 85 You do not meet this qualification requirement" grumble
Did you try my script? I got them down to ~45-50 seconds, same as RnR's for me, and there's no looking at all that filth in RnR's. And you get to see pics of runners instead. I can't do RnR's for hours straight. I've done Joes and similar HITs (Tom Harveys) for probably 3-4 hours straight in the past. It's fun, really. Not so much work if you don't feel like you're forcing it.
wish HITs had more examples, rejections are so powerful when you are starting out that im scared to do a lot of hits the examples they provide are duh material and you accept the hit and there are a bunch of borderline crap so i return

I can't believe I'm up with the late night crew tonight. At this rate I'll have been up for 24 hours. Where does the day go,and the night for that matter.
So the magic thing I had to do in order to record the Acme HITs is: booting up my WinXP virtual machine and doing it in there.
