Well it was one of those jennifer's you posted earlier so thanks for that ;p. It's always a nice feeling going from one really hard part of the audio and you stumble on 30 seconds for like 5 minutes then you get a whole minute of clear English.

 

yea, if I was able to do $10 a hour on a somewhat regular basis that would be great

 

I don't know how I passed it. I think I just got lucky and guessed enough right answers. Don't feel to bad. They are really strict.

 

Do be stupid and go balls to the wall like I did when I first started MTurk in April. I had no idea what I was doing and jacked up a few quals that I could've had now. Trust me, I'm pissed about it now.

ClariTrans is the best way to go to get started. The pay sucks, but it'll get you used to simultaneously typing and listening to what people are saying. Start with the 5 second hits and progress to 10, 15, 20 and 35 second hits that ClariTrans posts. And those hits usually get gone in that order. Be sure to check out the guide as well. They want to you type ums, hms, mmhmms, etc. in certain ways.

 

Yah those jennifer's were kind of hard. $15 took me 40 minutes, the $10 were too much of an effort due to the garbled audio.

From a quick search it seems like the Claritrans have a qual test that you have to pass, anything I need to know before hand and would say its easy or hard
