I've actually said the same thing. I think it's possible I don't diversify enough. A large percentage of my hits completed are totw (like you said I go for $). So I think it's completely possible that this could be the reason. I figure I'll get it when I get it. That being said, I can't say I don't get disheartened every time a new batch of people get masters and I check my email only to find no email from amazon lol.
Federal law says if you do the same type of work and you work the same hours, regardless if they call you contractor or not, the courts must change it to employee if the person takes it to court.
