Anyone care to summarize the whole razorbacks debacle for me? I've been out of the loop for the past couple weeks, so give me your best concise narrative. I just realized how much buttery popcorn I've been missing out on.
Okay, last post on this subject, but in correctly done stuffing there is celery but it is not crunchy. I know most of us don't actually stuff the bird with it these days, but it should be cooked long and slow enough that it is kinda mushy(except for the edges and "crust")
Totally makes sense. I'm overly obsessed with the textural aspects of foods, myself. For example: For years I tried to figure out how a certain diner I frequented had such delicious buttered toast! I mean, how many ways can you prepare toast!? There was something about it that, to me, just made it qualitatively better than home-made toast. Turns out the secret is to toast the bread, then butter it, then microwave the toast for 5-10 seconds. Stays crunchy, but adds a certain something... maybe a slight chewiness? Makes sense in retrospect, since most diners resort to using the "Chef's Secret" to reheat stuff.
