No the cubs are sleeping. I got an urgent call in the Bear Cave telling me Luigi die... on this the Year of Luigi. Im still sobbing and wondering what to do.
Yeah, that's the code. I never got one But I emailed twice explaining what was going on (once while working on it, and once after my time ran out). I submitted it at the 4 hour and 59 minute mark with the error message I did receive, but explained that I primarily stared at a spinning wheel for five hours.
Oh that is sad. Maybe he was ready to go though. A lot of old and sick people die right after holidays or elections, like they hold on till after that last special moment.
On the whole, I am satisfied with myself. Dear 411Richmond, A TurkOpticon Review I wrote (on 2 November) received this comment yesterday (2 December): "Hi, "This is 411Richmond. I don't think we ever got an email from you. "Thanks for the feedback that the instructions could be clearer for strange cases. We're working on making the HIT forms more clear and easier. "If you send me specific details on the HIT, I can look into it. You can reach me at hitform@checkout51.com. "Thanks Dec 02 2013 ma...@" My rejection was on 10/30/2013, HIT 2JYTP9RA7S5W4S87BOFFF0JM6O4XSC When I submitted the HIT, I made a notation about the receipt, which prior to photocopying had been folded over in such a manner as to render at least one item non-visible. The message I received with your rejection was a garbled form of my own words, as though some software at your end had trouble converting between Unicode and ASCII. It said only: The+transciption+of+the+receipt+%28 I sent email via the MTurk interface, which neither keeps a record copy nor gives your address. The automatically generated title of my email would have been: "Regarding Amazon Mechanical Turk HIT 2JYTP9RA7S5W4S87BOFFF0JM6O4XSC" I waited three days for a response to my query before I posted about my experience on TurkOpticon on 11/02/2013. Yours was the first rejection I ever received. It hurt me very much in those early days. I have since brought my rate of Approvals back up to 99.9%, but your company's handling of the rejection did not inspire my confidence. As ever, I would welcome a reversal of the rejection for the sake of my record.
I got a message that said there was a problem and they were working on it. Then it gave me a code and told me to use it to submit the hit and get compensated for it.

I have a question, is there a way to keep this thread strictly for posts and then have a chat box like on mturkgrind? There is always SOooooo much off topic conversations occurring on here. Then there are also people continually arguing and there is a lot of sifting that must occur to get through the arguing and off topic convos to find the HITs. In many cases, you miss the HITs by the time you get past the two pages of talking that just occurred.
