I stink at hoarding. I tried it once back when the Lovely Math People Who I Miss Very Much posted HITs. I lost basically everything I hoarded: "... Abandoned 25 0.2%" Thank you, Math! I knew I hated you in school for a reason.
thanks man. that is normally helpful, and i usually try to do that. on batches like that though, i don't think it works because by the time you switch screens to accept them, it will give you the "hit already accepted" error. i know you have to use the "andaccept" copy/paste trick, i've just not acted fast enough to be in a position to use it yet
You are allowed to have up to 25 accepted hits at any one time. So if there's a batch you like you might accept five right away before you start working on any of them.
I solved a huge mystery today and I'm feeling all Nancy Drew now, so I thought I'd share. Since I signed up here, I've seen lots of you talk about the "capcha loop" where you enter it correctly but it doesn't work. I'd never seen that happen EVER. Then today, it happened. I could not get out of it. I remembered reading where you guys said to enter it, backspace over a character and wait 5 seconds and reenter it... yadda yadda. It didn't work for me. I was in an endless loop of capchas. And I had never ever seen one before. Then I remembered that I had just installed the "preview and accept" script. I disabled it, typed my capcha like normal (no backspace, no wait) and it went right through. I didn't see it anymore. I enabled the preview and accept script, and 3 HITs later, I got the capcha loop again. I disabled it and my capcha went right through again. Just thought I'd pass that along! Love, Helpy Helperton
I already posted it! But I think things are kind of getting lost in the loop-de-loop forum lately. I've noticed if I don't keep refreshing and try to go to the next page, I miss posts once the next page really is open.
You're welcome! I'm sick, or I probably wouldn't be posting any. It takes away from turking. But it's fun right now. ETA: P.S. Thank you.
Idk if it was wonky forum-ness or the fact that I was actually doing work-work, lol. This is the first one I've actually gotten to see! (My work has a really strict filter.) Too cute!
