Any precedents of such a maintenance type shut down like this one ??? Experienced turkers can enlighten people on this...
Shutting down forever to do system maintenance, ya know, forever. Its never coming back. One of the system admins probably typed it, and i'm willing to be he's human. People make mistakes, its not like the company is a massive interlinked conscience incapable of making errors. I've never experienced one on this site, but it does happen from time to time. I'd expect it to be back within a few hours at best. You need to remember, Amazon makes money from every hit that gets completed. Its not financially prudent to go down for longer than absolutely needed. Also, everybody panic.
But I still have a doubt. Why do they have to shut down their website for maintenance?.. Are their servers too slow?
Hi, Did anybody contacted Mturk Customer care regarding this issue? i have written to them but still no reply from them?
