Apptopia what? What happened? That Jonathan jerk has something to do with something called Apptopia and we hate them now?

Same city as you. I'm dissecting pigs in the heat and driving a Prius that my husband built in the driveway. He didn't manage to get the AC working. Sigh.

Hey, did you see that it was 90 at the coast? That almost never happens. I wished I could have played hooky today.

I just saw that! It really is odd for it to get that hot on the coast. Well, it may not be unusual this summer if this and the last heat wave are any indication of what is to come. It would be a nice time to play hooky...

Yes, sometimes I think about how much college I did to do this... told my students I'd do a pregnant rat tomorrow as a demo. I kind of like the pigs but unpacking them and washing them is pretty nasty. Think about that the next time a survey is a bubble hell. :)

If that's true about summer then I'm at the coast for sure. I teach an online class during the summer that I can do from anywhere (two years ago I did it from the west coast of Africa) but I regret not playing hooky tomorrow. Sigh. It's not like I could have a sub dissect pigs.

You absolutely need to make lesson plans for this, then call a sick day. Make sure you leave your contact info for your sub and leave a recorder by the phone :D
