Man... I used to buy every No Limit Records album back in high school in 95-99. I don't know why, they all sucked. Master P can't rap to save his life.

Rap/hip-hop & punk were my 2 favorite genres and both are pretty terrible nowadays. I just listen to old stuff and pretend new music doesn't exist. lololz

so many memories...I used to play OutKast's Stankonia album almost everyday lol and yes, early Nas seems much different from the one now *skips on over to Youtube to play So Fresh, So Clean*
stankonia kind of lost me... southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, atliens, and aquemini are three of my favorite albums of all time tho... i did like the nas/damian marley album but yeah, nas is nowhere near as gritty as he used to be... that's what age, fame, success, etc., will do to ya...
OutKast lost me with Ms. Jackson. I did like BOB though. Tupac>Eminem>Biggie And I used to play Ready To Die on repeat when I was like 12. Now when I listen to him, I find Pac and Eminem to be better with their flow. But I think Bigs problem was his weight. I notice heavy breathing in his records now that I didn't notice back in the day.
I can't get Jiggy with Eminem anymore. Once the drugs stopped his music fell off for ME. Went from trashing everybody in music with no cares, to making pop radio friendly songs. I still dream of the day he makes something like Marshall Mathers LP or Slim Shady LP again. Hell even Eminem Show
biggie never grabbed me... i always thought he was potentially an amazing rapper, but then, like, where's the biggie from notorious thugs? hardly anywhere else on his albums... but then i'm also a much more west coast type of person... to live and die in LA probably more than any other song captures the kind of mood i'd ideally always like to be in...
