Can't Find Good Hits? 1/5

That's what I am nervous about, there are 100 different options for the majority to rule on.

 

Over the last two days, I did several of his HITs and he approved them the next morning. I am diving into them.

It makes me nervous how many of these I'm marking N/A. But it seems like 60%+ of them are just "__% off!" or free shipping.

Just did 3 hits out of curiousity. I put all No's.

It would seem that's normal... most people aren't going to tweet about having sex with their cousin or murdering somebody. Would be normal... I think... for most people not tweet about things that are deviant in society because it would also be about stuff generally breaking laws.

Idk though. I'm not doing anymore than 5... want to wait and see if they approve.

 

I did 125 of them (resisting doing more), and I've had quite a few where all were No's (also had five Yes', though). I would say there's an average of 1.5 or so per hit.

Hey guys, I see some people talking about the comment I made earlier about Rubin. I hope it's not true either and hope there is some major batches to come, but here is the exact email my friend got. I think I started turking at a bad time, becuase I grew accustomed to 100 dollar days being an average for me, and no I feel lost in the woods lol. Anyway, I talked my friend into emailing him and directly asking if he would be posting large amounts (mainly because I didn't want to be the one to ask him) and this is the response he got.

"The HITS we are submitting now are going to be coming in small batches. Instead of before how we've submit thousands at a time in a common pattern (school, class, etc), these are a different purpose and released to mTurk throughout the day as needed.

I appreciate your insight into the poor work being done. I'll be sure to communicate that to our team in hopes we make some changes to prevent that from continuing.
