The IRS web site finally acknowledges my existence and says they're mailing me a check. I guess this means I have to keep paying my taxes every year though.
I don't play Animal Crossing. I don't have a Switch. I don't think it's for me. I was glad I made it across the street and happened to notice a sign. That's good they thought of your safety.
35 minutes includes a 10 minute video/15 logic problems/writing and questions about the video. It was fairly enjoyable and painless especially if you enjoy learning about scientific studies which we all are a part of every damn day. Also it was approved instantly! My adjusted gross income (and usually just my income period) is below $12200 and so legally I don't have to file. I think most dirt poor Americans are unaware of this and end up paying the IRS when they don't have to. Anyone who has like a crappy low paying job likely qualifies and the smart thing to do would be to claim as many deductions as possible on your W-4 (something you file with an employer when you are hired but you can update whenever you want by telling your employer you want to make adjustments to it) so that they withhold as little as possible and then don't file.
Same 35 minutes for me. Not the best pay, but it was more interesting than the endless coronavirus studies, so I'll take it. On the other hand, this one was literally 90 seconds: Title: Answer a survey about moral judgments | PANDA Requester: Pontus Strimling [A3T18G5YWMVCP9] (Req TV): $23.41/hr/hr (TO): [Pay: N/A] [Fair: N/A] [Comm: N/A] [Fast: N/A] Description: Research survey about how you judge if something is right or wrong Time: 30 minutes(s) HITs Available: 1 Reward: $3.00 Qualifications: Participated in MFQ EqualTo 8;
HOTD for me. It was all writing but it wasn't bad at all. Took me like 12 minutes. Again anything is a welcome change from COVID-19 HITs at this point (not that I want that steady work to stop anytime soon). I particularly enjoy the covid studies that threaten rejection if you do them more than once. Because you just know their coronavirus study is going to be special and memorable and there's no chance you'll mix it up with the other 199 coronavirus studies you've done. (The only one that was memorable was the one that asked about the other coronavirus studies I've done. How many? Most frequent questions? How annoying? Etc.)
