If you catch this, make sure your uBlocks and AdBlocks are off cause if you refresh at all it'll lock you out. uBlock caught their video, I unblocked, refreshed and locked out before I could even start it. I will add also that I emailed him as soon as the error happened cause I still had nearly 2 hours to go and he replied back an hour later saying there's nothing he can do & for me to return the hit. Really helpful.
I do too but not for whatever site his survey link was being hosted on & there's no way for me to block the link ahead of time because his HIT has a "begin survey" button that pops up another window. The pop up wasn't blocked cause uBlock is off on mTurk but it blocked an "element" on his survey page which was the video. Normally I can prevent uBlock from interfering if I can see the link ahead of time but couldn't in this cause with the "start survey" button or whatever he had. I just wish he was more helpful. He could've found my worker ID in the database & deleted the entry so I could start fresh but he couldn't be bothered. That part was more irritating. Been a super slow day too which made it worse. /rant
