I've personally been rejected by them and I feel that my English is good. Their comment was about how some of my answers were not correct - so just be aware that they are check questions.

Naturegirl when you do the Teanstest2 HITS if small spelling errors are made do you mark yes or no? Small things like "i" instead of "I"?

I sent him a message. Did you ever hear back from him?

Yea, but the requester was unwilling to compromise, so I just took it as a loss.

    Heh!

    Bummer, F.A.M.E.

And greeneyed---I think I have Brelig blocked already. Bad TO, maybe?

My favorite sentence so far from the sentence validation HITs: "To find the areas where particular kinds of disparities exist, go to the Locator for Unequal Burdens."

I want that locator! Think it's shiny?

Hey all, I know this isn't exactly the topic on this thread, but there were some questions regarding all the hits for ProductRnR on 9/7/12, and all of mine were approved!

    (FINALLY in the 500+ woo!)

I've done quite a few of the TransTest2, about 50 or so the last couple of day, and only had one get rejected.

Hi, Melissa---just saw your message, sorry! I haven't seen that (and I guess technically it's not misspelled---"i" is the right letter, just not capped right), but if that were the only thing wrong with the sentence, I think I'd mark it Yes, because the sentence is sensible.

However, if words are misspelled to where they are not actual English words that you could find in a dictionary, then I'd say No. Usually in mine I don't see the primary issues being spelling --- if there are spelling problems, there's usually much else wrong with the item already, so it's a No even without the spelling difficulties. And maybe most important, the instructions for the HIT don't say anything about spelling, which I guess is the biggest thing!

    Yeah...

Like I said they are a Majority Rules validater. If there is ambiguity - skip the HIT. Don't do more than you can absorb in reject and by all means spend the time to get the HIT right - read the directions. I've not, as of yet, had a reject from them but have heard plenty of horror stories. It is NOT safe to breeze through their work - or Imagenet or Classify This or any other MR validater. But, again, in my experience, if you do the work you can increase your numbers. Just my experience.

Trans uses a TON of "gold" questions, it appears, and their instructions are confusing. I have emailed them concerning the confusion in their instructions and have not heard back. In any event, you pretty much have to have a very solid grasp of correct English grammar and sentence structure to do these without potential danger. I have not had a reject from them as of yet either.

Hope this helps... Bottom line, many requesters use Majority Rules, for good or for bad. Do them at your own risk based on your needs, experience and understanding of the task. A partial list of some of the most popular that use MR to validate results is below:

    Classify This
    ImageNet
    Amazon Requester (Product Ads)
    CF
    Adult Image Review
    Cloudfactory
    Houdini Inc.
    Jim Young
    Product RnR

There are many others - these are just primarlily ones I've done work for and have not, as of yet, had an issue.

I've done about 50 of these now, only one rejection, he approves fast. All in all I'd highly recommend it. They don't take long and pay very well for the time spent. Just my .02c :p

Yeah me to,I did about 100 and all were approved, PHEW! I was sweating that one! I still have my 100% approval rating. I don't know about you but I am going to give them a good rating on TO.

Not sure if this was already posted, but just finished a HIT from requester Michael Correll worth $1.60. It took me about 20 minutes, but he approved it almost immediately.
