TASK: Are the business names correct? And which categories don't apply to them?

I tried doing this hits today 3 times and not getting accepted as in zero accuracy and they said,
"Some of your answers were not what we are expecting."

I had e very good impression of Dolores Labs as some of their HITs are easy and good but some are just irritating like this one.

@ennaira They are a CrowdSourcing company. They have their own research department that conducts surveys and do research on CrowdSourcing. They use mainly mturk for their research work and all their HITs are for research purposes. I yesterday had a conversation with one of their employees and received a detailed emails explaining what they do with these surveys. They have excellent papers on CrowdSourcing written by expert researchers. Anybody interested can check their website http://crowdflower.com/ (look out for blog section). If you are finding their HITs irritating then might be they are conducting research on what makes CrowdSource workers irritate :) By the way I recently submitted 24 of their HITs, I wanted to complete more but my acceptable percentage dropped to 70% so I was not allowed. However, all my HITs got approved within 24 hrs and got their reply thanking me for providing useful feedback. If you have worked on their "cancer cell detection HIT" then take a look at the paper on their blog section that explains how they conducted this particular research and derived inferences from it. This research was basically to check what motivates CrowdSource workers. Very interesting paper by Dana chandler, their researcher.

I have found DoloresLabs irritating, too. The Attaboy (Thank You For All Your Hard Work)
after you Submit a task seems lexcessive to me. A simple "Thank You" would be sufficient. Gets on my nerves.

Answer being not what they expected: At least they give you the opportunity to explain why you answered as you did. I have rec'd Reject for my thoughts differing. I definitely shied away from the task in which they asked whether I would buy a certain magazine, based on the look of the cover.

Why should I spend my time telling them what I think, when it isn't what I think that they want to hear? If they really just want a consensus, why don't they ask that you try to guess what the average person thinks?

Disappointing, because DoloresLab HITs are frequently interesting, althouth they cram more items in per task than other HITs.
