From the last 6 months i requested 3 cheques but till date i didn't receive single cheque. m turk is providing worst service.....my first cheque failed to receive. Then They issued new cheque and that is also not received . i have waited for two months and they are telling simply they will re issue another cheque. They are telling to check my mailing address, but my Google cheques are receiving in time to the same address. This is full of fraud .......slowly every one have the same problem.... Please don't waste your time with useless m turk....I have lost Rs 15000/- and wasted lot of time.... Now i am not having hope that i will get my money back so i decided to donate it to the m turk team (beggars) as my gift.
I think they knew somehow that you're going to donate it to them so they didn't bother to send you check (joke)....Hope you will get your money soon.

well amazon can only send out checks, if your local post office cant deliver them, its not their fault. I have always been paid by them, thou i have it sent to a bank account. Most countries outside the US, Europe, and only a handful of Asian countries have extremely bad mail service. Ive had friends in India and Russia that said whenever I sent them something like a check or toys or something, they never get them, mainly cause the post is pretty corrupt in those countries and will steal things. So I just send money western union or have them pick up the item at the local store after I have made payment, normally a electronic travelers check. Most major stores accept prepayment and pick up this way. Your other option is to have a friend in the U.S send your money by depositing it in their bank and have them wire it to you.
I stay in Andhra Pradesh India, and never faced any problem receiving my mails, but sometimes I give the postman a tip (like 20 or 30 Rupees) which makes him happy.
