Hei, Did you get any blocks for the last six months? Try to contact Mturk. But I don't think they will answer some thing useful. But why you kept 1000 dollars in ur Mturk Account. Crazy???????????/ Didn't you read the stories about account suspension in Forums.
ya i got blocked from 2 requester but before account suspension i withdraw my $600 but mturk does not send my check what's problem i don't know. i live in varanasi (u.p) and when i withdraw my check each time i not found my check...why? 9 months ago i withdraw my first check of $200 but i am not found that time. mturk each time reissue my check and finally i found my check after 5 time reissued. and 1 month ago i withdraw $600 but again i am not found my check and in that time i got blocked from 2 requester but before account suspension i withdraw my $400 and next day my account was suspended. but mturk not send my $400 check. and again when we contact mturk and ask why you are not send my check then he told me your account suspended and your $1000 forfeited. i very frustrated because it's my 8 month hard work and that time i don't know what i am doing...
Worst case scenario, in a week or so, it goes into your amazon payment account and you can withdraw the money and you will need to start over (which stinks). You can email MTurks and they will reply with why your account was suspended (they did for me), but will do very little after that. As for the $1,000 in the future - Personally, I withdraw money every week.
I think the problem was not with Mturk. The problem was with Indian Postal Service. Better contact them. As for me I don't have any issues regarding the cheque.
bro that is not your personal problem it always happening with turkers so many workers face that problem but your case biggest all of them . Mturk forfided my 279$ of account .and it naver answer my mails i have my balance at amazon payments but i am unable to convert it into gift card an error will occurs in this process .........................................if any one have solution please help me.................................
Do you know which requesters issued the blocks? Maybe if you appeal to them, you can get at least one lifted, and get your account back. Sometimes hard blocks are issued by accident, simply because the requester doesn't know how badly they can hurt a worker. I'm not sure if Amazon will ever give you back the money they seized, even if you do get the account back, but it's worth a try. As for the missing checks, gotta agree that sounds like a local postal service problem.
Beings as this thread started in December 2011, I’d imagine it is too late to do anything about it. That requester may not even be posting HITs anymore.
