I'm wondering what's going to happen Sunday when they are supposed to have articles again but still have over 10K HITs to edit. Really, really ticks me off that I've been sitting here for 11 days with no response on my editing HITs when I could have been editing this entire time. I've had a very needy newborn who likes to sleep on me during the day, and I could have completed hundreds of editing HITs over those days.
I finally got one approval on editing a recipe from TWO WEEKS ago ... seems I missed the part where southwestern should have been capitalized - I missed it, but got a two sentence "feedback" about the rule - wouldn't it make more sense to send these back to us and ask us to recheck? Not a personal message, but a canned one so they can turn these things around...on the other hand, if they are going to read each one, then I guess they are still going to be in the muck. I wonder if they will keep this two year contract more than a few more months... I can the staff running around the office like deer in the headlights - LOLOLOLOL
Holy Moly! I did some editing for CS today that actually got approved within an hour! I almost fell out of my chair; however, the other 76 from the past week or so still are pending; but there is hope, there is hope
Jealous!!! I got paid $2 today because it has been 14 days on a callout. I had one 70-word description editing HIT approved ($1), but that's all EVER for editing HITs. I got the qual something like April 4.
It might have been raised, but unless they approve the backlog, we are still unable to accept new jobs. It makes me laugh when it says, "check back in a little while." Poor dears, they have their hands full!
How do you find that out HappyFish? Not that I want to know...if they don't hurry, they will miss the 30 day mark and all will be approved and paid and won't they be happy campers.
If you want to know how many edits there are left, all you have to do is search for crowdsource edit hits and add up the different categories.
Just a few more hours until there are articles again. Yea! I hope they still have the quantity they had before the break. I don't mind editing, but it takes a lot more work to make money that way. Plus, I realized yesterday that it takes me an average of 15 minutes to edit an article and 25-30 minutes to write an article. Statistically speaking, it just pays better to write. Maybe they should think about that when deciding payment prices.
How to get qualification? Hi all. I've requested the CrowdSource Top Tier writing qualification a few times but never got any response? I'm wondering if the email with the test is coming from a name/address I'm not recognizing or getting filtered into my spam folder. Anyone know what name I should do a search under? Or know a different way to be able to take the qualification test? Thanks!
They haven't put up the test since Februaryish when I got it. You can't really miss it when it's been put up. However, they're doing a lot of revamping right now both in the writing hits and in the editing ones. I doubt you'll see a test put up any time soon. Speaking of revamps, I'm so glad I got the beta qual and can start doing articles today! I just wish they had a few more up.
I wonder how long they are going to be "testing" the new format. I found one I could do, but I won't touch the investment or tax articles. May have to work on recipes.
I've only done one and I have one accepted, there isn't much available, but it's better than nothing. I really like the new layout, it's much nicer on the eyes, just for the color contrast.
