i have tried to answer Audio Transcription HIT but I was not able to get a clear Audio. willit be better if I put on Earphone to listen to the audio? is there some course available to understand the accent?
A good pair of headphones or earphones definitely helps. A dedicated transcription program, such as Express Scribe, which allows you to easily scrub back and forth over a section of audio to hear it again, as well as slow audio down or speed it up, goes a long way, too. I also use a program called SRS Audio Sandbox, which is a system-wide audio enhancement program which generally makes poor audio sound better. For really tough problems, I'll run a file through Audacity to filter out noise and/or boost the signal. Some audio is just too poor to do anything with, though, and it's best to send the job back.
