Can't Find Sweet 'n' Salty HITs? 12/12 Fantastic Friday!

just realized my amazon payments account is business, not personal. Probably explains why it's got a negative disbursement balance right now. Any one know how to change it? I don't know why I would have set it up as business

 

I just checked my email. They emailed and apologized and said it was their first time using mturk. The said thanks for the feedback, and said they would get back to me promptly if I had any other feedback or suggestions. Very nice.

 

Yes, this definitely sounds like a new requester snafu. I liked their hits and will be looking for them, personally.

 

It was good! Very easy, and some of the towns made me laugh. That's always a plus in the middle of the night.

 

If you call amazon 100 times they will finally tell you that after 6 months you can request to get a normal account without a disbursable balance or something along those lines. Happened to me in 2012. I no longer have a dispursement balance anymore.

Also if you ever tried a kick starter campaign they make you create an amazon payments business (at least they used to)

 

I actually found your thread and still have it opened but only skimmed through it. I can't change it via settings? I've had the account a couple years now but just now using it regularly for turk. Never once sold anything, just transfers from turk to it, then to my bank.

Not sure then, I was never able to change it. The dispursable balance thing just magically disappeared after 6 months or maybe a year. They told me I could make an entire new account but I wasn't going to do that and risk having other problms.

 

Lmfao what a weirdo that baldo is. That was my first post and the reason for joining here. Its all downhill from there....

some how I just stumbled a link to my half filled out seller central profile. It has a check box for selling which I assume is what it relates to. It's greyed out though.

Ok I think that has to be what's going on with my account then. I'll submit the request to delete it. Hopefully it doesn't affect my payments account.

 

They are very helpful when you manage to reach them. If they give you issues message jeff@amazon.com and it will get forwarded to the right department

The email I linked is jeff bezos (creator of amazon)'s public account. I highly doubt you get him directly but whoever is in charge of it knows how to direct emails

 

I am guessing your amazon payments account doesn't say this up in the right corner either?
