On the next round, we'll probably do so! I don't know if increasing the approval rate helped much.

Np - that was my fault! Canceled that previous batch, but the new batch should be working well.

There is one description that says: Rye with Muenster and Salami

I see the Rye sandwich but I can't see what inside it. I might see tiny bit of salami but how do I know for sure what's in side the sandwich?

I call it "NOT a match"?

In other words, only if I know if it's 100% to be considered a match?

Also any chance you can open them up to UK people too :)?

What about a stock photo of food? It matches the description but it isnt actual food.

If you can't see the items in the description, and it's not clear what's inside (like a label or something like that), then go with not a match. This is definitely a more subjective question, and the answers will vary based on what people can recognize.

So it's a photo of a photo? If it's a photo of a photo, it wouldn't count. If the photo is just a stock photo (not a photo of a photo), then it would be considered a match if it matches the description.

At the moment, we can't due to the subjective nature of the foods being in the US. Sorry!

That sucks, we really enjoy your hits here, hate to hear that someone is taking advantage of y'all!

If you are planning on regularly posting HITs, have you thought about setting up your own qual? You can have people who have worked on your HITS in the past and/or pass a qual test. That might help cut down on the spammers.

Just suggestion but maybe add an option for foreign language on the next batch so you can filter those out as well.

Yup, a custom qual might be coming down the way. I figure we'll also lower the requirements from what they are right now as well.

Ah, yeah, the foreign language part. I'll need to stick that in the instructions (I'm assuming you mean an option about the description being in a foreign language), but feel free to answer if you know what it means. If you don't, answer not a match.

On one HIT, last 4 pictures didn't load. (it showed a broken icon) I put it NOT a match.

I also want to add that this task is fun. I take my time and enjoy looking at pictures of food and deciding on them.

My first time with your HITs, and between your communication here and the HITs themselves it's easy to see you're going to be a favorite.

I sent a PM to Andy just as a heads up to give you your Verified Requester badge.

    Thanks for being here!

LMAO.....Just have to at that one.

  20. Wanted to make sure of something. If in a meal description it says a "restaurant", such as McDonalds or Burger King, oppose to a hamburger and fries would we mark that as the not matching the meal image?
